State Representative Candidate Bill Beck and Wife, Pam Beck, Attend Nashville School Of Law Recognition Dinner
The Nashville School of Law’s 21st annual dinner was held at the Renaissance Hotel to pay tribute to the late Dean Joe C. Loser, Jr.
More than 700 people attended the dinner to honor Dean Loser who led the school for nearly 28 years and passed away just months before his retirement.
The entire Tennessee Supreme Court as well as the two judges who will join the court later this year were in attendance: Chief Justice Gary Wade, retiring Justice Janice Holder, Justice Connie Clark, retiring Justice Bill Koch, Justice Sharon Lee, Judge Holly Kirby and Judge Jeff Bivins.
The Loser and Gass families were also there to celebrate the life of their honored family member.
The Annual Recognition Dinner—chaired by Charles Niewold and held at the Renaissance Hotel Nashville—brought together hundreds of alumni, faculty, students and friends of the law school to honor Dean Loser. A champion of the Nashville School of Law’s mission to make a legal education available to working adults, Dean Loser shepherded the school through two moves to larger campuses; spearheaded a name change; enhanced the curriculum; and more than doubled the school’s enrollment during his lengthy tenure.
