We Have News from the Campaign Trail - Week of June 16, 2014

There are less than 30 days remaining until Early Voting.

Team Beck has been working hard, knocking on doors, calling voters, and attending neighborhood meetings and gatherings.

Our campaign has been so humbled to be endorsed by so many of our local elected officials, neighbors, and friends...as well as the Nashville Fraternal Order of Police and the Firefighters and EMS Workers Local 140.

This week, Bill had to defend his residency to the Election Commission following a politically-motivated challenge made by an individual to have him removed from the ballot.

The irony is this:  Bill is the ONLY native Nashvillian running to succeed House Representative Mike Turner.  Bill is the candidate with the longest history in East Nashville and District 51.  Bill Beck has served Inglewood, Madison, and Old Hickory for the past two decades in many leadership roles, including his presidency on the Boards of Directors for the historic Amqui Station, the Kiwanis Club of Madison TN, and the Madison-Rivergate Chamber of Commerce.

The Election Commission recognized his investment in District 51, and they voted unanimously to keep him on the ballot!

Each week, the campaign picks up speed, so we would love for you to join us at our events and/or work with us as we talk to voters out in the district.

This coming week (June 22), our planned activities will include:

Door Knocking and Phone Banking:  Mondays 1PM to 9PM; Wednesdays 1PM to 9PM; Fridays 1PM to 9PM; Saturdays 9:30AM to 7:30PM.  We start out from our headquarters at 4205 Gallatin Road
